Buxus sempervirens 'Suffruticosa'
Dwarf English Boxwood
Description
This Dwarf Boxwood was widely used in colonial times after its import from England. It is slow growing with dark-green pointed leaves. At maturity, 'Suffruticosa' is only 3' tall. Due to its denseness and low-growing habit, this Boxwood is excellent for planting along walkways and in hedging, as well as an accent or cut close into different shapes. Like most Boxwoods, 'Suffruticosa' prefers partial shade, but will tolerate full sun as long as its soil does not dry out.

Cedrus atlantica 'Glauca Pendula'
Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar
Description
The Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar originated in France over a century ago and has held its popularity for its exceptional pendulous habit. 'Glauca Pendula' can be staked or trained to conform to any shape and we stake them to a minimum of 5'. While the trunks on some are contorted (spiraled), others are fairly straight, and they become massive over time. The branches are densely covered in powdery steel-blue needles that are irregular in length.

Cedrus deodara 'Aurea'
Golden Deodar Cedar
Description
'Aurea' is a golden evergreen that has been a consistently popular variety. 'Aurea's' branching is somewhat open, horizontal and irregular, making it an excellent pyramidal specimen. Overall, its habit is somewhat similar to the species, though tends to develop its "flat-topped look" at a much younger age. 'Aurea' sprouts new foliage that is a golden-yellow, adding beautiful highlights to the tops and ends of the branches. The color is prominent throughout the season. With this tree, it is important to be cautious of winter winds and exposed sites.

Cedrus deodara 'Deep Cove'
Deep Cove Deodar Cedar
Description
Unlike other deodara selections, 'Deep Cove' is hardier and slower growing. 'Deep Cove' is semi-dwarf, while boasting the same graceful nature of the Cedrus deodara. Throughout the year, its needles are a deep blue-green, which contrasts distinctively, and beautifully, with the new creamy-white foliage in the spring. By mid-summer the needles settle into their blue-green coloring. An added bonus to this cedar is its resistance to burning, even in 100 degree sun. 'Deep Cove' is a great selection of Cedrus that will stay compact and rich in appearance all year through.
